We specialise in helping individuals regain independence, confidence, and functionality in their daily activities. Led by experienced occupational therapists, our team is dedicated to providing personalised retraining programs that address specific challenges and empower individuals to achieve their goals.

Activity and daily living retraining involves therapeutic interventions and training programs designed to improve an individual’s ability to perform essential activities of daily living (ADLs) and meaningful activities. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or seeking to regain functional independence, our retraining programs are tailored to your unique needs and goals.

  • Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Retraining: We provide training and interventions to help you regain independence in essential ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility. Our goal is to improve your ability to perform these activities safely and efficiently.
  • Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) Retraining: We offer training in instrumental ADLs such as meal preparation, household chores, medication management, financial management, and transportation. These skills are essential for independent living and community participation.
  • Mobility Retraining: We provide mobility training to improve your ability to move safely and confidently in various environments. This may include gait training, balance exercises, use of assistive devices, and strategies for navigating obstacles.
  • Cognitive Retraining: We offer cognitive retraining programs to improve cognitive skills such as memory, attention, executive function, problem-solving, and decision-making. These skills are important for effective participation in daily activities and social interactions.
  • Environmental Modifications: We assess your home or work environment and recommend modifications or adaptations to enhance safety, accessibility, and usability. This may include installing grab bars, ramps, adaptive equipment, or ergonomic tools.

Our Occupational Therapist Erin is extremely experienced in writing satisfactory reports that gets results within the NDIS and My Aged Care Schemes.
