Whether you’re a new driver seeking guidance or someone experiencing changes in your driving capabilities due to injury, illness, or aging, our team is here to support you.
- Pre-Driving Assessments: Ideal for individuals who are considering learning to drive or returning to driving after a hiatus. We assess cognitive, physical, and perceptual skills to determine readiness for driving.
- On-Road Driving Evaluations: Conducted in a dual-controlled vehicle with a certified driving instructor, these assessments provide real-world insight into driving abilities. We assess skills such as lane positioning, decision-making, and hazard awareness.
- Driver Education and Counseling: Education on safe driving practices and counseling on driving retirement or alternative transportation options are available to support informed decision-making.
Who Can Benefit?
- Individuals with neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis)
- Seniors experiencing age-related changes impacting driving abilities
- Those with cognitive impairments affecting attention, memory, or decision-making
Driving assessments may be able to be funded through your NDIS plan.
