Are you a physiotherapist in Toowoomba who wants to make a difference in people’s lives, passionate about helping people & being a part of a bigger vision?

Your role will involve but not limited to:
  • Work from home, the park, or a cafe for your office work
  • In community consultations – see clients in their own home to make the most benefit to their goals
  • Telehealth consultations (small percentage)
  • Treat a range of clientele– with a large focus on the disability population.
  • Post-operative rehabilitation
  • Write a variety of reports to third parties
  • Creating a system that works for you to complete all expected tasks
  • Supporting the team & creating awareness for this service.
  • Writing information documents and blogs relating to your passions.
  • Liaising and brainstorming with the team regarding client treatments
  • Involved in conducting team education sessions
  • Involved in regular team meetings – wellness and goal setting as well as team growth.
  • Contributing to the improvement of systems and processes

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills to a range of personality types and abilities
  • Thrives in both a team and an autonomous setting.
  • Embraces challenges and new opportunities for growth
  • Is happy to adapt a fun and functional approach with children and think on your toes to create engagement and participation
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience working with people with disabilities is highly desirable but not an absolute requirement.

Required certifications/documentation

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Current indemnity insurance
  • CPR & First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS workers screening & Blue card
  • Drivers Licence
  • NDIS Workers Screening check
  • COVID vaccinations up to date
  • Australian Drivers License
