Are you a Physio or OT allied health student in the Gold Coast area who wants to make a difference in people’s lives, passionate about helping people & being a part of a bigger vision? At Sarah's Physio To Go, we’re rewriting the rulebook on how healthcare is delivered. Our mission? To create smiles, improve lives, and make therapy fun! Forget the corporate grind—we’re a small, community-driven team who puts heart and humour into everything we do.

*$28-35 per hour + Super + Car allowance. 

*10-20 hours/ week, flexible. 

What’s the role?
We’re looking for an Allied Health Assistant who:

  • Can juggle therapy balls (and appointments) like a pro.
  • Is ready to work alongside physiotherapists and our multidisciplinary team to support our clients with motivation, mobility, independence, and rehabilitation.
  • Brings the sunshine on every visit, spreading positivity while keeping professional.
  • Work with a wide range of ages, conditions, abilities and locations.
  • Assistance with reception, admin including service agreements and appointment bookings for yourself and the therapists
  • Excited to travel around the community helping people that have minimal access to help.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • A passion for people (and a knack for making them laugh).
  • Reliable transport to visit clients at home or in community settings.
  • A love of learning, teamwork, and good coffee – we encourage career and personal growth & celebrate the wins!

Requirements:

  • Desirable but not required 6 months experience as an allied health assistant (Therapy Assistant) OR must be current physiotherapy or occupational therapy student. 
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent) (if not a AHP student)
  • NDIS Workers Screening, Blue Card, First Aid & CPR, Australian Drivers License
  • Organized and high compliance – you like to tick the boxes and do things by the book 
  • Effective communication skills to a range of personality types and abilities and have clear communication between yourself and the treating therapist
  • Thrives in both a team and an autonomous setting.
  • Embraces challenges and new opportunities for growth
  • Is happy to adapt a fun and functional approach with children and think on your toes to create engagement and participation
