*$28-35 per hour + Super + Car allowance.
*10-20 hours/ week, flexible.
What’s the role?
We’re looking for an Allied Health Assistant who:
- Can juggle therapy balls (and appointments) like a pro.
- Is ready to work alongside physiotherapists and our multidisciplinary team to support our clients with motivation, mobility, independence, and rehabilitation.
- Brings the sunshine on every visit, spreading positivity while keeping professional.
- Work with a wide range of ages, conditions, abilities and locations.
- Assistance with reception, admin including service agreements and appointment bookings for yourself and the therapists
- Excited to travel around the community helping people that have minimal access to help.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Requirements:
- Desirable but not required 6 months experience as an allied health assistant (Therapy Assistant) OR must be current physiotherapy or occupational therapy student.
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent) (if not a AHP student)
- NDIS Workers Screening, Blue Card, First Aid & CPR, Australian Drivers License
- Organized and high compliance – you like to tick the boxes and do things by the book
- Effective communication skills to a range of personality types and abilities and have clear communication between yourself and the treating therapist
- Thrives in both a team and an autonomous setting.
- Embraces challenges and new opportunities for growth
- Is happy to adapt a fun and functional approach with children and think on your toes to create engagement and participation
